Terrell Owens says Hall of Fame voters listening to wrong people about him

Former All-Pro receiver Terrell Owens on Wednesday gave his first interview since being rejected for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Appearing on “The Tim Graham Show” on Buffalo radio station WHLD, Owens again took shots at the Hall of Fame voting process.

Owens, who ranks second all time in receiving yards, was on the Hall of Fame Committee’s list of 15 finalists this year, his second year of eligibility.

“Considering my body of work and what I’ve done on the football field, that should be justification in itself for me to have gotten in as a first-ballot Hall of Famer and definitely this year,” Owens told Graham in a telephone interview.
