The Atlanta Falcons entered Sunday’s game with huge holes at the wide receiver position. Julio Jones was already lost for the year with a foot injury, and Roddy White was ruled out with hamstring and ankle issues. Points have been hard to come by so far. The Chiefs took an early lead on a 1-yard run by Jamaal Charles, but have otherwise struggled to move the ball against Houston’s defense. They did manage to take the lead at the end of the first half, when Alex Smith led them on a 15-play, 97-yard drive that ended with a quarterback keeper to give them the lead.
